Building data pools

The Initiative Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN)( http://www.godan.info/ )is a call to action for a world needing better data to drive innovation, economic growth and feed a growing global population. It is a rapidly growing group, currently with over 240 partners from national governments, non-governmental, international and private sector organisations.

IFOAM EU ( http://www.ifoam-eu.org ) is the European umbrella organisation for Organic Farming in Europe. It advocates for the development and integrity of European organic food and farming. IFOAM EU currently has more than 160 member organisations, including farmers and processors, retailers, certifiers, consultants, traders and researchers to environmental and consumer advocacy bodies.

The Land Library is one of the core modules of the Land Portal, which is the leading online destination for information, resources, innovations and networking on land issues. It has become the authoritative virtual repository of land-related information, including peer-reviewed publications, policies, maps, and multimedia content.

Through the strategic partnership with Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN), the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), and the ARIADNE Foundation, Agroknow is hosting the Data Processing Unit of the traditional AGRIS service  - a global information system collecting and making accessible bibliography on agricultural science and technology.
