Design and development of the new GODAN website

The Initiative Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN)( )is a call to action for a world needing better data to drive innovation, economic growth and feed a growing global population. It is a rapidly growing group, currently with over 240 partners from national governments, non-governmental, international and private sector organisations.

Our team focuses on the design of the new website architecture, as graphical designs (wireframes). The wireframes depict all the website pages and the admin, and user workflows.

The new GODAN website is built on Drupal 7 CMS that offers various interoperability options with other content management systems, like the version CiviCRM of the Customer Relations Management system that gives the ability to the network manager to handle the communication with the network members.

Through the enriched search service, users have the ability to look for related news, events, resources, documents, partners etc from various selected sources (e.g. generated by the GODAN initiative or aggregated from external sources) by using specific filters.

Partners and stakeholders can use the online forms to declare their participation in events and other social activities (online surveys), as well to register their organisation to the GODAN network map.
